Arranging the funeral

Right after you contact us, our services start, often continuing beyond the day of the funeral. We ask for preliminary details including whether the deceased has died at home or in a private nursing home. We then arrange for the conveyance of the deceased to our private chapel. We provide helpful advice and assist you through the entire funeral process. This includes making arrangements on your behalf with ministers, clergy, cemeteries and crematoria, and other third parties if required.

Hearse and limousines

We provide the hearse for the funeral with chauffeur and bearers. Unless stated otherwise, we carry the coffin on our shoulders into and out of the church. We believe this reflects our past traditions and allows us to pay respect to the deceased.

We charge for limousines separately, just to ensure that the family of the deceased is not charged for something that they may not need or want. Our limousine charges include transport to and from the funeral. We provide chauffeurs and our limousines can carry up to six or seven passengers.

Obituary notices

We can place obituary notices in a variety of local and national newspapers. These can advise people of the funeral date and also carry your requests regarding flowers and donations.

Orders of service

We provide printed orders of service. We believe these can be an added personal touch. These also are a precious keepsake that can be sent to those who are unable to attend the funeral.

Floral tributes

Floral tributes can make any funeral more personal. Flowers can be a part of the healing process for those who've just lost their loved one. Willingham Funeral Service can assist you with ordering floral tributes.

Donations to charity

At your request, we can administer donations to any charity of your choice. We can send you the list of donors and the total amount collected after 4-6 weeks. We also provide a letter of receipt and thanks from the selected charity.

Cremated remains

Most cemeteries and crematoria offer the option of small graves. These can be purchased solely for cremated remains. You can visit these graves and pay your last respects. The grave can also be marked with a headstone.
